I cant say it is the best laptop for you but I can say its a pretty good deal. I swear by AMD processors, they are agile and run cool. 3gb of RAM is more than you would probably need for everyday stuff. Its got a DVD burner which is always a nice touch in todays digital world. The resolution of the screen is pretty standard. I wouldnt call it HD but its probably pretty sharp. TruBrite is really nice, I think it makes colors look more rich. The hard drive should be plenty big, 200gb is alot of space. The graphics card is O.K. because it is "dynamically allocated shared graphics memory" what this means is that the computer will borrow space in the RAM of the computer for graphics stuff. This is not really what you want if your into graphics design and videogames. For your average movie watcher and internet browser, its fine. Speakers... theyre good, harmon/kardon is well respected for fine audio quality. CD/DVD controls are life savers, trust me. Built in webcam = :) . The 5 in 1 media adaptor will make it easier to get stuff off portable devices like your camera and onto the hard drive. The WiFi is not the new "N" technology but "N" is so scarce so far that "b/g" will do you just fine. In all honesty, Vista sucks but you really can't buy a computer without it nowadays so Home Premium is the way to go, it will have a nice semi-transparent "Aero" feel to it
References :
Experience
