Question by p: Do you think that there should be “low-income cell phones”?
In my state, Colorado, they are currently proposing cell phones for low income residents. Anybody with a cell phone or a landline would get a charge on their bill that would go towards funding these cell phones for low income people. They would not have to pay anything. They say they are doing this in case of emergencies, but Trackphone (the company that would offer the low income plan) stated they are interested in doing this to try to convince them to pay for a bigger plan. It’s obvious a money making scheme, and why should other citizens have to pay for other peoples’ luxury? A cell phone isn’t a neccessity. What is your opinion?

They don’t like you to know this but yes you can convert a pay as you go phone to a contract phone, give it a try and if it doesn’t work then call customer service to have them do an ESN swap for you.

I’m so sure that these calls can wait until they come home, not like the doctors who are on duty for emergencys etc. I am so tired of hearing conversations on cell phones about nothing! For example … (Conversation) what do you think they out for the birthday child? WHAT? You can not use it to call him. .. still pay to watch it so .. spirit is “important” because the phone I have a cell phone, and is used only for use in nessisary -.? spelling … LOL I certianly danger don ‘t else on the road next to the phone can continue to laugh and everything, and do not pay attention to others, is something that we need help ….
